How to convert minutes to hours
Formula: h = min ÷ 60
Worked example: 90 min → 90 ÷ 60 = 1.5 h
Divide minutes by 60 to get decimal hours. The decimal part is a fraction of an hour, not minutes: 135 minutes is 2.25 hours, or 2 hours 15 minutes. Multiply the decimal part by 60 to read the minutes.
